A selection of artwork from students working on the Bees & Weeds cycle seat intervention project installed in a pop up exhibition at Blackwells Bookshop in Oxford. The exhibition continues until the end of March and coincides with Oxford Literary festival 2015 taking place 21st – 29th March.
This project is supported by research results from Professor Dave Goulson of the University of Sussex on the important role that bumblebees play in the pollination of food crops. Dave is giving a talk at Blackwells at 7pm on Friday 24th April, about his work on systemic pesticides used in agriculture and their impacts on pollinators and biodiversity in general.
Huge thanks to James Orton, Blackwells Events Manager, pictured, for helping us to organise the show and Kevin & Honour from Bainton Bikes for supplying the incredibly cool retro bike.
