We’re Here Now! is BACK. Around 300 people came to the opening event at the Castle Quay Shopping Centre in Banbury. For a second year Martin Carrolchick and Neil Mabbs have taken over empty units and are working with Louise Williams and her students at Banbury & Bicester College to create this year’s festival of visual arts.
We’re Here Now! 2015 opened on Saturday May 16th with 2 workshops lead by students: Ketura Jones and Anne Hobbs ran an origami bird workshop in collaboration with the RSPB to raise awareness about the plight of migrating birds and Ben Ferguson ran a print workshop – part of his interactive graphic project on world conflict.
The wonderful festival of shows continues until the end of June, with workshops designed to engage all age groups with the joys of creating.
